Dernière mise à jour : 17 févr.

Edit: Dionysus and Artemis have had their second chance : they both found their forever home. We wish them a life full of happiness with their adoptive parents.

Although dogs have always been special to me, promoting the well-being of all animals remains essential. That's why when my partner and I came across two tiny kittens in the forest at the start of winter, we didn't hesitate to take them in. Dionysus and Artemis - it's these sister's and brother's temporary names - quickly won our affection. Despite a difficult start in life, they are now in good health and ready to find their forever home.

Dionysus is a greedy and cuddly white kitten with brown eyes, while Artemis is an active and playful tabby hunter. After collecting them, we contacted the Auvergne Cat School Association, which took care of treating them against worms and parasites. We have cared for them ever since and today they are full of energy, clean and ready to find loving homes where they can thrive.

The case of Dionysus and Artemis is unfortunately not unique. Animal protection associations are overwhelmed and are struggling to accommodate all the abandoned kittens. As a reminder, it is essential to sterilize our cats to prevent such situations from occurring. If you find an injured animal, contact a local shelter or association, such as the LPO if it's a wild animal. If you have time and space, you could also consider becoming a host family. Together, we can ensure that every animal has a chance at a happy, healthy life.
